ARTICLE 291 - Chilled, refrigerated or frozen poultry, whole or in pieces, for retail sale through a self-self-service system, shall be marketed in individual packaging that must comply with the provisions on packaging and labelling contained in these Regulations. Packaged poultry shall be labelled with the words "CONSUME FULLY COOKED" clearly displayed on the front of the packaging. This message shall also be displayed on the cabinets in which raw poultry meat is sold in bulk, in a format that is easy to read for consumers. Slaughtered refrigerated or frozen poultry may be marketed with its offal, provided that the offal is packaged in sealed plastic bags and placed inside the chest cavity.
