Provisional measures adopted in relation to the importation into Chile of meat of bovine animals from Colombia

In light of the notification by the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) of a new outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, and given that the importation of bovine meat from Colombia therefore poses a potential risk to Chile's health status, a health measure has been provisionally adopted to suspend the importation into Chile from Colombia of chilled and frozen fresh meat of bovine animals.
