Proposed Maximum Residue Limit: Clethodim (PMRL2018-50)

The objective of the notified document PMRL2018-50 is to consult on the listed maximum residue limits (MRLs) for clethodim that have been proposed by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).MRL (ppm)1        Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity3.52                         Edible-podded legume vegetables (crop subgroup 6A),  succulent shelled pea and bean (crop subgroup 6B)0.5                    Shallot bulbs1 ppm = parts per million2 In addition, it is proposed that the established MRL of 0.5 ppm for "beans" be replaced with an MRL of 0.5 ppm for each of the dry bean commodities in crop subgroup 6C in order to reflect current terminology.
