Exempt Resolution No. 8.220 of 2018 amending Resolution No. 3.347 of 2006 establishing phytosanitary requirements governing the entry into Chile of dried plant products of certain species and places of origin

Chile hereby advises that Resolution No. 3.347 of 2006 establishing phytosanitary requirements governing the entry into Chile of dried plant products of certain places of origin has been amended by the removal from point 1 of branches of Sorghum vulgare from Argentina. This amendment was made following the update to and publication of phytosanitary requirements for the importation of dried branches of Sorghum vulgare of any origin in Resolution No. 1.800 of 2018, which created a regulatory duplication for such products from Argentina. Consequently, it was necessary to rescind the regulations governing this species and its place of origin in Resolution 3.347 of 2006.
