Modificación del artículo 333 del reglamento sanitario de los alimentos, Decreto Supremo N° 977/96 del Ministerio de Salud (Amendment to Article 333 of the Food Health Regulations, Supreme Decree No. 977/96 of the Ministry of Health)

Article 333 of the Food Health Regulations currently establishes maximum limits for paralytic shellfish poison (PSP) and amnesic shellfish poison (ASP), and specifies that shellfish must not test positive in bioassays for diarrhetic shellfish poison (DSP). The proposed text maintains the existing limits for PSP and ASP, but provides a breakdown of the toxins that form DSP, establishing a maximum limit for each one.
