National Food Safety Standard of the P.R.C.: Food additive pectins

This standard applies to food additive pectins obtained from the extraction and purification of raw materials such as fruit peels or residues of fruits (including pomelo, lemon, citrus, and apple), sunflower plates, or other appropriate edible plants. The extraction solvents used are ethanol and isopropanol.
