National Food Safety Standard of the P.R.C.: Food additives lycopene (synthetic)

This standard applies to food additives lycopene produced from 3,7,11-trimethyl-2,4,6,10-dodecatetraenyl-triphenylphosphonium salt with 2,7-dimethylocta-2,4,6-trienedial as starting materials or intermediates, through Wittig condensation reaction, obtained by purification and crystallization. This standard specifies the technical requirements and determination methods for the food additives lycopene (synthetic).
