Notice of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 707852/1291/1440 dated 20 May 2019 (15/9/1440 H) entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of equine from Uruguay"

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 20, Vol. 32 dated 10 May 2019, which indicates that Equine infectious anaemia has occurred in Uruguay, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of equine from Uruguay to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended. (The ban will lifted automatically after three months from the final report).
