Description
This Technical regulation applies to all food products that contain added sugar, except the following:
Drinking soda that contains natural and/or artificial sweeteners such as Diet, Lite, Zero, etc.;Food for special dietary uses.
>In 26 April 2019, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia notified WTO (SPS) about this Technical Regulation (G/SPS/N/SAU/396). Due to the valuable comments from many WTO Members, this Technical regulation will be reviewed by Saudi Arabia. This technical regulation shall not come into force until further notice.
