The notified resolution establishes the phytosanitary requirements for the importation of grain white rice (Oryza sativa), originating in and coming from Brazil.1. The shipment must be accompanied by an official phytosanitary certificate, indicating under "Additional declaration" that the grain white rice has been inspected by the national plant protection organization (NPPO) of the country of origin and has been found free of: Oryza rufipogon, Oryza punctata, Chenopodiastrum murale, Chenopodium album, Liposcelis entomophila, Boerhavia coccinea;2. The shipment will be subject to phytosanitary inspection and sampling for phytosanitary diagnosis by inspectors from the Quarantine Directorate at the agricultural quarantine facility at the point of entry into the country, for the application of appropriate phytosanitary measures.Shipments will be subject to phytosanitary checks by plant quarantine inspectors from the Institute for Agricultural and Livestock Protection and Health, who will verify compliance with the phytosanitary requirements and decide whether or not to authorize importation, on the basis of the accompanying documents.
