Emergency measures for nursery stock and tissue culture against Xylella fastidiosa and related Xylella species

On 9 November 2015 Australia notified of the implementation of emergency measures for the import of nursery stock, tissue cultures, cuttings, budwood, rooted plants, corms and bulbs against Xylella fastidiosa and related Xylella species.Following the notification of the presence of Xylella fastidiosa in Israel on 25 June 2019 (EPPO Reporting Service no. 06 – 2019), Australia notifies that it has extended the list of Xylella spp. high risk countries that require specific import conditions for import to Australia to include Israel, effective 6 July 2019.
