Modifica Resolución No 136 de 2021 que "Establece regulaciones para la importación de plantas, estancas y ramillas de especies de carozo procedentes de Estados Unidos de Norteamérica y agrega requisitos para Prunus serrulata" (Amending Resolution No. 136 of 2021 establishing regulations for the importation of plants, cuttings and slips of stone fruit species from the United States of America and adds requirements for Prunus serrulata)

The notified measure seeks to incorporate into Exempt Resolution No. 136 of 2021 the phytosanitary requirements for the importation of plant propagation material for Prunus serrulata, which were set out in Exempt Resolution No. 5.073 of 2012, thus allowing the phytosanitary requirements for the importation of propagation material of stone fruit plants from the United States of America to be consolidated into a single legal text.Furthermore, it corrects the diagnostic method for detecting the pests Eriophyes insidiosus, Phytoptus emarginatae and Acalitus phloeocoptes (Ac. Eriophyidae) and sets out requirements regarding the point of entry for plant material.Further details can be found in the document attached to this notification.
