The amendment of Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control

The Republic of Korea is adding changes to the "Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control".
Foreign food facilities that comply with ‘Food safety management certification standards' of the Food Sanitation Act will be acknowledged as ‘Facilities adopting food safety management certification standards'.
The items prescribed by Ordinance of the Prime minister will be allowed for importation to the extent that these items are produced, manufactured, processed, treated, packaged, stored from facilities adopting imported food safety management certification standards.
