Lista de plagas reglamentadas de Costa Rica 2019 (List of regulated pests, Costa Rica 2019)

The notified text establishes the list of regulated pests. This list is based on international standards, notably ISPM No. 19: "Guidelines on lists of regulated pests" (2003, FAO, Rome), as well as on Costa Rican Technical Regulation (RTCR) No. 379/2000: Procedures for the implementation of phytosanitary requirements for the importation of plants, plant products and other plant material capable of harbouring pests, Decree No. 29.473-MEIC-MAG, and the respective technical guides, and on pest interceptions at entry points, technical data sheets, and pest risk analysis (PRA) for specific pests and pests of national interest. This notification replaces notification G/SPS/N/CRI/196.
