Notice of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 113902/1291/1441 dated 15 October 2019 (16/02/1441 H) entitled "Temporary Ban on the Importation of Live Birds, Hatching Eggs and One-day Old Chicks originating from Chile"

Following the Ministry of Foreign Affairs letter No. 028755-41-100, dated 3 October 2019 (04/02/1441 H), which indicates a High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) outbreak in Chile, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI disease in the country. Therefore, the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks from Chile to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
