Thiamethoxam; Pesticide Tolerances for Emergency Exemptions. Final Rule

This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for residues of thiamethoxam in or on rice. This action is in response to EPA's granting of an emergency exemption under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizing use of the pesticide on rice. This regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for residues of thiamethoxam in or on these commodities. The time-limited tolerances expire on 31 December 2024. This action is also associated with the utilization of a crisis exemption under the FIFRA authorizing use of the pesticide on rice.
