Notice of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 354972/1291/1441 dated 20 January 2020 (25/5/1441 H) entitled "Temporary Ban on the Importation of Live Equine originating from Kuwait"

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 31, Vol. 32 dated 31 July 2019, which indicates that Glanders has occurred in Kuwait, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of live equine from Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
