The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has issued the Decision No. 435464/1291/1441 dated 20/02/2020 (26/06/1441 H), entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of equine originating from Brazil"

Following the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2147, which indicates that Glanders has reoccurred in Brazil. It is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the Disease into the country. Therefore, the import of Equine from Brazil to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
