Description
The Veterinary Conditions for Importation of Table Eggs have been reviewed based on risk assessment conducted by Singapore, with reference to OIE's recommendations. Key revisions pertain to the (a) animal disease freedom status of country; (b) animal disease status of farms; (c) hygiene conditions; (d) requirement for issuance of veterinary certificate to each exporting farm and consignment of eggs; and (e) labelling of eggs.A summary of the revisions is at ANNEX.
