Decision to Authorize the Importation of Fresh Carrots From the Republic of Korea Into the United States [Docket No. APHIS–2019–0062]

APHIS is advising the public of its decision to authorize the importation of fresh carrots from the Republic of Korea into the United States. Based on the findings of a pest risk analysis, which APHIS made available to the public to review and comment through a previous notice, APHIS has concluded that the application of one or more phytosanitary measures will be sufficient to mitigate the risks of introducing or disseminating plant pests or noxious weeds via the importation of fresh carrots from the Republic of Korea into the United States.
