MODIFICA RESOLUCIÓN N° 1748/2017 QUE ESTABLECE LAS EXIGENCIAS SANITARIAS PARA LA INTERNACIÓN DE HARINA DE VÍSCERAS, HARINA DE CARNE Y HUESO Y ACEITES O SEBOS DE AVES, CERDOS Y EQUINOS (Amendment to Resolution No. 1748/2017 establishing sanitary requirements for the importation of viscera meal, meat and bone meal, and oils and fats of poultry, swine and horses)

The notified draft contains the following amendments to SAG Resolution No. 1748/2017:
1. The following paragraph is added to point B.i: "The animals' farm of origin and the farms in the surrounding 3 km, have not experienced any outbreaks of diseases of significance to the species covered by this Resolution in the 30 days leading up to shipment."
2. The following paragraph is added to point B.ii: "They were made from animals that have not been slaughtered to eradicate or control an infectious disease."
3. The second bullet point in point B.ii is replaced with the following text:
"Subjected to a minimum temperature of 90°C for at least 60 minutes, stirred continuously, or a minimum temperature of 121°C for at least 10 minutes at an absolute pressure of 3 bar."
4. The final paragraph in point E is replaced with the following text:
- "These results must be shown on the official sanitary certificate."
