Proposed Maximum Residue Limit: Glufosinate-Ammonium (PMRL2020-07)

The objective of the notified document PMRL2020-07 is to consult on the listed maximum residue limits (MRLs for glufosinate-ammonium that have been proposed by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).MRL (ppm)1         Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity0.5                     Tree nuts (crop group 14-11)2; olives30.3                     Stone fruits (crop group 12-09)40.05                   Carrot roots1 ppm = parts per million2 Replaces the currently established MRL of 0.1 ppm for tree nuts (crop group 14-11).3 Replaces the currently established MRL of 0.1 ppm for olives.4 Replaces the currently established MRL of 0.2 ppm for stone fruits (crop group 12-09). The currently established MRL of 0.25 ppm for dried prune plums will be removed as residues will be covered under the 0.3 ppm MRL for stone fruits (crop group 12-09).
