Suspension on import of equids, equine semen, oocytes and embryos from Malaysia

Based on the official report to the OIE submitted by Department of Veterinary Services, Malaysia on 02 September 2020, there was an outbreak of African Horse Sickness (AHS) reported in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. The import of equids, equine semen, oocytes and embryos from Malaysia is suspended with immediate effect to prevent the introduction of AHS into Singapore.
