The DLD order on temporary suspension of importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Australia to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Serotype H7N7).

Following the reported outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) from Victoria (Serotype H7N7) of Australia, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of HPAI disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Australia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (17 September 2020).
