The notified draft measure establishes the conditions and the documentation required for the authorization of imported animal feed, by means of a monograph evaluation or documentary approval in the case of ingredients of non-ruminant origin, intended for animal feed:  It specifies the type of feed exempt from a production process monograph evaluation.  It details the documentation that importers must submit for an initial evaluation and for modifications to products that have already been authorized.  It establishes the validity period of each authorization.
