New Import Requirements for Importation of Grains and Grain Products into Malaysia, 2021

Malaysia proposed to revise and implement new import requirements of grains and grain products into Malaysia following the gazette of the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Act 2011. This act requires that the importation of any grains and grain products into Malaysia shall require an Import Permit. The commodities would also have to be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate.
