Establishment of MFDS rules on Socio-Economic Impact Evaluation of Living Modified Organisms for Food

The rule specifies MFDS's evaluation procedure on socio-economic impact of Living Modified Organism for food. In accordance with the rule, the MFDS; 
(a) establishes and operates an advisory committee for cases that requires the evaluation:
(b) has established specific items and standards for the evaluation; and
(c) takes appropriate measures according to the evaluation result.
