In the light of the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the importance of protecting phytosanitary heritage and the desire to maintain the flow of trade in fresh mangoes from Mexico to Chile, the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) has agreed to temporarily carry out virtual verifications, with the Mexican NPPO, of the facilities applying for authorization as new packing establishments and their hydrothermal treatment plants, for the 2021 season, in addition to the review of the technical information and the reports containing the results of the quarantine treatment tests.
