Proposed amendments to the “Standards and Specifications for Food Additives” (Notice No. 2026-083, 13 February 2026)

The Republic of Korea is proposing to amend the "Standards and Specifications for Food Additives". The main points of the amendments are as follows: 1) Standards for the use of sweeteners will be revised; 2) Managements standards for flavouring substances and other substances will be strengthened.
