This Draft Ordinance provides details on the rules for quick-frozen foodstuffs for human consumption. Quick-frozen foodstuffs means foodstuffs which have undergone a suitable freezing process whereby the zone of maximum crystallization is crossed as rapidly as possible, depending on the type of product, and the resulting temperature of the product (after thermal stabilization) is continuously maintained at a level of -18°C or lower at all points, and which are marketed in such a way as to indicate that they possess this characteristic. Also this Draft Ordinance lays down the rules for sampling procedures for quick-frozen foodstuffs, the procedures for monitoring their temperature and for monitoring temperatures in the means of transport and warehousing and storage.

These Draft Amendments provide rules for model health certificates for trade in ovine and caprine animals for slaughter, fattening and breeding.

These Draft Amendments modify some conditions and certification requirements for the placing on the market and the import of aquaculture animals and products thereof and lay down a list of vector species.

These Draft Amendments modify some rules on animal health requirements applicable to trade in and imports of deep-frozen semen of domestic animals of the bovine species.Importation of semen only on submission of an animal health certificate drawn up and signed by an official veterinarian of the third country of collection. 1. This certificate must: - be drawn up in the official languages of Montenegro and in the official languages of the country of collection; - accompany the semen in the original form; - be drawn up on a single sheet of paper; - be made out to a single consignee. 2. The certificate must correspond to a specimen.

This Regulation shall apply on consignments of sprouts or seeds intended for the production of sprouts imported into Montenegro, excluding sprouts which have undergone a treatment which eliminates microbiological hazards (accompanied by a certificate).

The draft amendments on the regulation of trade in certain live animals modify some rules governing trade in certain live animals and products intended for exportation - for relevant authorities and for the veterinary supervision of consignee operators: consignment of animals is accompanied by health certificates, which contain, where necessary, the additional guarantees for animals intended for slaughter.

This Draft Ordinance provides rules for animal health conditions governing trade in and importation from countries of embryos of domestic animals of the bovine species. This legislation shall not apply to embryos derived by transfer of nuclei.  Importation of embryos from the territory of a third country or part thereof shall take place only if the embryos: (a) come from donor animals which, immediately prior to the collection of their embryos, have remained for at least six months in the territory of the third country concerned, and in a maximum of two herds complying with at least the set out requirements; (b) comply with the animal health requirements adopted in accordance with the procedure for imports of embryos from that country.

These Amendments modify the list of feed and food of non-animal origin subject to an increased level of official controls on imports.

This Regulation for natural spring, stone and natural mineral water prescribes: - the conditions for use of activated alumina for the removal of fluoride from natural mineral waters and spring waters; - the list, concentration limits and labelling requirements for the constituents of natural mineral waters and the conditions for using ozone-enriched air for the treatment of natural mineral waters and spring waters; and - the exploitation and marketing of natural mineral waters.

This legislation prescribes methods of veterinary checks for products of animal origin from countries destined for introduction into free zones, free warehouses, customs warehouses or operators supplying cross border means of sea transport.

It also prescribes rules on the Internet-based information page so that information on aquaculture operations and authorized processing facilities can be accessed electronically. These Amendments lay down rules on an Internet-based information page to be established by Montenegro to make information on aquaculture production businesses and authorised processing establishments available by electronic means for: aquaculture production businesses keeping fish; aquaculture production businesses keeping molluscs; aquaculture production businesses keeping crustaceans; authorised processing establishments slaughtering aquaculture animals for disease control purposes.

This draft ordinance provides details on foods and food ingredients subject to ionizing radiation. It is an initial positive list of food and food ingredients, that may be treated with ionising radiation, together with the maximum doses authorised for the intended purpose. The foodstuffs that may be treated with ionising radiation and the maximum overall average dose that may be imparted are listed in the Annex.
