Regarding the notification G/SPS/N/JPN/610 with its title "Revocation of designation of tylosin phosphate as feed additives", Japan adds "Animal health" to "Food safety" checked on "7. Objective and rationale", and attaches the annex file to the notified document "Revocation of designation of tylosin phosphate as feed additives" as followed.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) will revoke designation of tylosin phosphate as feed additives since tylosin phosphate is no longer used, produced, imported or expected to be used in the future in/into Japan.

As was announced in G/SPS/N/JPN/593 dated 1 August 2018, the revision of the Agricultural Chemicals Control Act (Act No 53 of 2018) and the related laws and regulations will enter into force on 1 December 2018.The schedule for the revisions is as follows:- Periodic re-evaluation: 2021 (The first announce for active ingredients to be re-evaluated will be conducted in 2019);- Annual report for information on the safe use of registered pesticides: October 2019.
