This corrigendum is issued to correct the draft MRLs of "Potato" and "Blueberry" notified in the attachment of notification G/SPS/N/JPN/1218 dated 7 August 2023. See the attached Table 1: Errata and Table 2: The corrected table of maximum residue limits for Iprodione.
On 18 August 2023, MAFF has lifted the import suspension measures on importation of poultry meat and egg products from the State of Santa Catarina in Brazil, which was implemented based on Articles 37 and 44 of the “Act on Domestic Animal Infectious Disease Control” and other relevant requirements in order to prevent the introduction of High pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI) virus into Japan.
On 10 August 2023, MAFF has lifted the import suspension measures on importation of poultry meat and egg products from the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil, which was implemented based on Articles 37 and 44 of the “Act on Domestic Animal Infectious Disease Control” and other relevant requirements in order to prevent the introduction of High pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI) virus into Japan.
To prevent the introduction of Erwinia amylovora into Japan, MAFF has taken emergency measures to prohibit the import of host plants of E. amylovora (specified in Item 3. of this notification) originated in China based on examination of the relevant documents listed in Item 10.
In order to prevent the introduction of High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI) virus and H5 Low Pathogenicity Avian Influenza (LPAI) into Japan, MAFF has taken import suspension measures based on Articles 37 and 44 of the "Act on Domestic Animal Infectious Disease Control" and other relevant requirements.
