Following the OIE report, ref. No. 7, Vol. 31 dated 13 February 2018, which indicates that equine infectious anaemia has occurred in the Slovak Republic, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of equine from the Slovak Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

Following the OIE reports, ref. No. 6, Vol. 31 dated 2 February 2018 which indicates that Koi herpesvirus disease and Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome occurred in South Africa, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the diseases into the country. Therefore, the importation of live fish including ornamental fish from South Africa to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

This corrigendum provides the correct description of the products covered in the original notification. Following the OIE report, Ref. No. 26025 dated 27 February 2018, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI) outbreaks have occurred in Groningen, Netherlands. In compliance with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Terrestrial Animal Health Code Chapter 10.4, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI into the country. Therefore, the import of poultry meat, eggs and their products (with the exception of processed poultry meat and egg products exposed to either heat or other treatments that ensure deactivation of avian influenza viruses) from Groningen, Netherlands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

This draft technical regulation concerns the technical requirements to be met in the production of bread prepared from wheat flour, and does not apply to the bread used for special nutrition.

Lifting of the temporary ban on the importation of meat and meat products of goats and sheep from Ireland to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as outlined in the Minutes of the Health and Technical Requirements for the Import of Sheep and Goat Meat and their Products signed by SFDA and DAFM.

Therefore, the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and one day old chicks from Afghanistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is suspended.

Lifting of the temporary ban on the importation of meat and meat products of goats and sheep from the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as outlined in the Minutes of the Health and Technical Requirements for the Import of Sheep and Goat Meat and their Products signed by SFDA and DEFRA.

Following the OIE report, ref. Vol. 31- No. 03 dated 15 January, which indicates that High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) outbreak has occurred in India, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks from India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is suspended.

The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture issued the Decision No. 118357 dated 24 December 2015 entitled "Temporary Ban of Importation of Live Bird, Hatching Egg and One-day Old Chick" originating from Dordogne and Landes, France, due to the outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Dordogne and Landes, France. The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has subsequently issued the Decision No. 205/1291/1439 dated 4 February 2018 (18/05/1439 H), lifting the temporary ban on the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks originating from France. Based on OIE reports in the last three months, HPAI has not been registered in France. In compliance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Chapter 10.4, the risk of importing live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks from France is negligible.

Based on the OIE "Quarterly Aquatic Animal Disease Report (Asia-Pacific Region) April - June 2017", White spot disease (WSD) and Acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) are known to be present in Viet Nam. In addition, the SFDA technical team visited Viet Nam, observed the controls applied by the Vietnamese government for export facilities of fish and crustacean and other products of aquatic animal origin, and made recommendations. Therefore, the import of fish and crustacean and other products of aquatic animal origin from Viet Nam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 01, Vol. 31 dated 29 December 2017, which indicates that Equine infectious anaemia has occurred in France, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of equine from France to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

Based on results of official controls on fresh guava from Egypt showing non-compliance with international standards, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture published Decision No. 161/1291/1439 dated 25 December 2017 imposing a temporary ban on the importation of fresh guava originating from Egypt. Therefore, the import of frozen and processed guava from Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

Following the OIE report, Ref. No. 25549 dated 29 December 2017, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI) outbreaks have occurred in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. In compliance with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Terrestrial Animal Health Code Chapter 10.4, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI into the country. Therefore, the import of poultry meat, eggs and their products (with the exception of processed poultry meat and egg products exposed to either heat or other treatments that ensure deactivation of avian influenza viruses) from Kostroma Oblast, Russia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 50, Vol. 30 dated 10 December 2017, which indicates that High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) outbreak has occurred in FLEVOLAND, Netherlands, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of Live Birds, Hatching Egg and One day Old Chick from FLEVOLAND, Netherlands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is suspended.

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 50, Vol. 30 dated 12 December 2017, which indicates that Glanders has occurred in Turkey, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of the disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of Equine from Turkey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
