This Draft Circular provides Guidelines for the management of animal feed specified in Clause 4 of Article 37; Clause 1 of Article 44; Clause 2 of Article 46; Point đ, Clause 2 of Article 48; and Point c, Clause 2 of Article 79 of Viet Nam's Animal Husbandry Law, including: - Principles of animal feed sampling;- Animal feed labelling;- Regulations on reporting the state of animal feed production; - Specifying mandatory quality requirements of feed standards included in applicable standards; - Issuing a list of banned substances in animal feed and a list of materials which can be used as feed ingredient in Viet Nam.

The Draft Decree is providing detailed guidelines for some clauses stipulated by Animal Husbandry Law and measures for implementation of the Law. The clauses guided in detail in the Draft are related to: a) Livestock breed management: Promulgation of the list of livestock breeds to be conserved and the list of livestock breeds banned from exportation; b) Livestock feed management: Conditions and procedures of licensing of feed production, feed importation, use of antibiotics in livestock, feed quality inspection; c) Animal husbandry management: Farming size, livestock density of eco-zones, procedures for licensing livestock farming, regulations on rearing swiftlets, sika deer; d) Importation of livestock and their products; e) Regulations on livestock waste treating products.

Replacing Decree 108/2017/NĐ-CP dated 20 September 2017, the latest Decree of Fertilizers Management promulgates regulation on fertilizer production, registration for trading, export/import and use, providing control over certain substances of microorganisms in fertilizers that might affect human health and crops.

The 6th version of Viet Nam's Draft Livestock Law will replace the 5th version which was circulated to WTO Members via G/SPS/N/VNM/95/Add.1 on 17 May 2018.

This Circular is based on Articles 41 and 42 of the Law on Food Safety 2010 and on Article 23 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP detailing the implementation of some articles of the Law on Food Safety.In order to supervise food safety of imports, this Circular regulates: - dossiers and procedures to inspect food safety of plant origin exports; - handling of re-imported plant origin exports in the event of food safety non-compliance with relevant regulations of importing countries; and - the form presenting food safety inspection results of plant origin exports.

This addendum is to inform WTO's members of the withdrawal of the proposed Circular on Ensuring Food Safety for Foods of Plant Origin which was issued under notification G/SPS/N/VNM/92.

This standard stipulates the technical requirements on chilled pork used for food.

This draft Circular is issued with the aim of regulating the management and use of food additives by providing a list of permitted food additives and maximum level in food commodities respectively.

After the enforcement of Viet Nam's Government Decree 15/2018/ND-CP on 2 February 2018, some current Ministerial Circulars have become completely or partly obsolete and invalid, including Circular 30/2017/TT-BNNPTNT dated 29 December 2017, endorsed by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. This draft regulation (Draft 2) aims to comply with Decree 15/2018/ND-CP. It introduces the amendment and supplement of the two Annexes of Circular 30/2017/TT-BNNPTNT: - Annex Ia: Application Form for Plant Quarantine and Food Safety Inspection of imported goods of plant origin; and - Annex IIa: Certificate for Plant Quarantine and Food Safety Inspection of imported goods of plant origin.

This draft Circular specifies technical requirements for substances that are allowed to be added for vitamine A fortification in order to add more nutritional value into foods.

This regulation governs food safety criteria and their maximum levels in locally produced compound feeds and imported compound feeds for aquaculture in Viet Nam.This regulation applies to any compound feeds that are either produced locally or imported by agencies, organizations or individuals for the purpose of feeding aquatic animals, which are destined for human consumption.

This addendum is to inform WTO Members that as Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated 2 February 2018 of the Government on elaboration of some articles of the Law of Food Safety came into force on 2 February 2018, the following circular is declared to be invalid:  - Circular on guidance of food safety control for imported foodstuffs of plant origin in Viet Nam (Circular Ref. 12/2015/TT-BNNPTNT dated 16 March 2015), issued and notified on 30 June 2010 under notification G/SPS/N/VNM/20.

This addendum is to inform WTO Members that as Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated 2 February 2018 of the Government on elaboration of some articles of the Law of Food Safety came into force on 2 February 2018, the following circular is declared to be invalid:  - Ministerial Circular No. 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated 8 April 2010 stipulating the regulations on food hygiene and safety control for imported foodstuffs of animal origin, issued and notified on 31 July 2014 under notification G/SPS/N/VNM/59.

The 5th version of Vietnam's Draft Livestock Law will replace the 4th version which was circulated to WTO Members via notification G/SPS/N/VNM/95 on 12 March 2018.

The Draft Law on Crop Production establishes the provision to regulate plant varieties, fertilizer, cultivation, post-havest, processing, preservation and trading of plant products and state management in crop production area.

Guiding on management of veterinary drugs.

By setting out the general principles of good practice in raising, breeding, and farming livestock, poultry and pet animals, this law is enacted with the intention of regulating and standardizing the production and operation in the field of animal husbandry, to ensure the quality and safety of livestock and poultry products, animal feeds, livestock breeds and genetic material.

This regulation stipulates the basic requirements on food safety production conditions for fisheries suppliers, processing establishments of raw fisheries, ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat fisheries products.

The draft Circular provides regulations for application and issuing of the phytosanitary - foodsafety inspection certificate for the regulated articles that are imported for human consumption.
