According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 17 September 2021, the suspension for importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannameiP. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Madagascar has expired on 16 December 2021. However, the results of the investigation and corrective action plan from Madagascar have not been received. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV) into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannameiP. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Madagascar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 17 December 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 20 July 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Germany has expired on 18 October 2021. However, The OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in area of Germany. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Germany is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette  (8 December 2021).

According to White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV), Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV) and Yellow Head Virus (YHV) have been detected in frozen marine shrimps imported from Ecuador. The announcement of the Government Gazette dated 17 September 2021, the suspension for importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannamei, P. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Ecuador has expired on 16 December 2021. In addition, the evaluation of disease control system of Ecuador for frozen marine shrimps exported to Thailand is still in progress. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV), Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV) and Yellow Head Virus (YHV) into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live prawns and prawn carcasses (including Penaeus vannameiP. monodon and P. stylirostris) from Ecuador is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 17 December 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 18 November 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (18 November 2021).

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from the Philippines is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 18 November 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (18 November 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 20 August 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei has expired on 17 November 2021. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) (Serotype H5N5) in the area of Chinese Taipei. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of AI disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 18 November 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (18 November 2021), except the feathers and down of poultry that have been processed in the approved establishment by the DLD and these commoditiesthat have been processed to ensure the destruction of avian influenza virus recommended by OIE terrestrial Animal Health code topics 10.4.22 and 10.4.23 which use one of the following methods: - washed and steam-dried at 100ºC for 30 minutes; - fumigation with formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours; - irradiation with a dose of 20 kilogray.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 9 July 2021, the suspension for importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Myanmar has expired on 25 October 2021. However, Myanmar has not been self-declaration for the recovery of country freedom from lumpy skin disease according to the OIE report. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in Myanmar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 26 October 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (19 October 2021).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 20 July 2021, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia has expired on 18 October 2021. However, the OIE reported that Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) is an endemic disease in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 19 October 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (19 October 2021).

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015),the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from South Africa is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days notified since 19 October 2021 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette (19 October 2021).
