The WOAH has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in the area of the United Kingdom. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza into the country. By the virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from certain areas of the United Kingdom has been temporarily suspended.

The WOAH has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1) in the area of Iran. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1) into the country. By the virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Iran has been temporarily suspended.

The WOAH has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Pas-de-Calais in France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza into the country. By the virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Pas-de-Calais in France has been temporarily suspended.

On 25 June 2025, the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has lifted the temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from New Zealand, which was implemented based on the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in order to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into Thailand.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported an outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in the area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Ebola virus disease into the country. By the virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of monkeys and other animals belonging to the order Primates from the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been temporarily suspended.

On 25 June 2025, the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has lifted the temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Netherlands, which was implemented based on the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in order to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into Thailand.

On 28 August 2025, the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has lifted the temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses in Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Tarkany, Kiskunfelegyhaza, Bács-Kiskun of Hungary, which was implemented based on the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in order to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into Thailand.

On 9 September 2025, the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has lifted the temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Brazil, which was implemented based on the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in order to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into Thailand.

The WOAH has reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1) in the area of Cambodia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1) into the country. By the virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Cambodia has been temporarily suspended.

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) notification reported in G/SPS/N/THA/232/Rev.2 dated on 18 July 2024, has been adopted as notification of MOPH No. 459 regarding "Import Requirement for Food with Risk from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy" in the Official Gazette dated 7 July 2025.Date of entry into force: 7 July 2025

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) notification reported in G/SPS/N/THA/781 dated on 21 January 2025, has been adopted as notification of MOPH No. 460 regarding Food Containing Pesticide Residues in the Official Gazette dated 7 July 2025. The MOPH notification MOPH notification No.387 (G/SPS/N/THA/183/Add.1), MOPH notification No.393 (G/SPS/N/THA/247/Add.1), MOPH notification No.419 (G/SPS/N/THA/313/Add.1) and No.449 (G/SPS/N/THA/584/Add.1)  were repealed and replaced by this MOPH Notification No. 460.Date of entry into force: 22 July 2025
