According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 21 March 2021, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Germany since 21 March 2022 has expired on 18 June 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Germany. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Germany  is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 19 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 8 March 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from India has expired on 5 June 2022. However, the OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of India. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry  and poultry carcasses from India is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 6 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 11 March 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the United Kingdom has expired on 9 June 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in areas of  the United Kingdom. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Suffolk, Devon, Cambridgeshire, Somerset and Derbyshire of England is temporarily suspended for 90 days  from 10 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of Poland. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015),  the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Poland is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 7 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 25 February 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses in Vendée, Hautes-Pyrénées and Lot-et-Garonne in France has expired on  26 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Vendée, Hautes-Pyrénées and Lot-et-Garonne in France. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Vendée, Hautes-Pyrénées and Lot-et-Garonne in France is temporarily suspended for 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (31 May 2022).

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of the Republic of Korea. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from the Republic of Korea is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in  the Thai Royal Gazette.

By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of the Philippines. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from the Philippines is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Myanmar. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Myanmar is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 14 February 2022, the suspension for the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei since 16 February 2022, has expired on 16 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) (Subtypes H5N5 and H5N2) in the area of Chinese Taipei. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette, except for the feathers and down of poultry that has been processed in the approved establishment by the DLD and these commoditiesthat have been processed to ensure the destruction of avian influenza virus recommended by OIE terrestrial Animal Health code topics 10.4.22 and 10.4.23 which use one of the following methods:- washed and steam-dried at 100ºC for 30 minutes;- fumigation with formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours;- irradiation with a dose of 20 kilogray.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in areas of China. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from China is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 17 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of Belgium. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Belgium has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 2 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 9 February 2022, the suspension for the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Spain expired on 10 May 2022. However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of Spain. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Spain has been temporarily suspended for 90 days from 11 May 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.
