According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 18 May 2022, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam since 17 May 2022, has expired on 14 August 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Viet Nam. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Viet Nam is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 15 August 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 10 May 2022, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India since 12 May 2022,has expired on 9 August 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of India. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from India is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 10 August 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of lumpy skin disease in the area of Malaysia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Malaysia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 9 August 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 18 May 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei  since 17 May 2022, has expired on 14 August 2022. However, the WOAH  has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) (Subtype H5N2) in the area of Chinese Taipei. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Chinese Taipei  is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 15 August 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette, except the feathers and down of poultry that have been processed in the approved establishment by the DLD and these commodities (https://www.oie.int/index.php?id=169&L=0&htmfile=glossaire.htm#terme_marchandise) that have been processed to ensure the destruction of avian influenza virus recommended by WOAH terrestrial Animal Health code topics 10.4.22 and 10.4.23 which use one of the following methods:-         washed and steam-dried at 100ºC for 30 minutes;-         fumigation with formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours;-         irradiation with a dose of 20 kilogray.

The WOAH reported an outbreak of Avian Influenza (HPAI) in a poultry farm of Germany. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Germany is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (15 August 2022).

However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Myanmar. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Myanmar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 15 August 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Indonesia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 16 July 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 28 April 2022, the suspension for importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Cambodia will expire on 27 July 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of lumpy skin disease into the country in the area of Cambodia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of lumpy skin disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of bovine and buffalo and their products from Cambodia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 28 July 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 27 April 2022, the suspension for importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy has expired on 30 July 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of African Swine Fever in the area of Italy. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of African Swine Fever disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live domestic and wild pigs and their carcasses from Italy is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 31 July 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from South Africa is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 16 July 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hajdú-Bihar in Hungary is temporarily suspended for 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (24 June 2022).

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 24 March 2022, the suspension for importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hungary since 24 March 2022 has expired on 21 June 2022. However,  the OIE reported Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Bacs-Kiskun, Békés, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Csongrád in Hungary. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Bacs-Kiskun, Békés, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Csongrád in Hungary is temporarily suspended for  90 days from 22 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.

However, the OIE has reported a continued outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in the area of the Philippines. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from the Philippines is temporarily suspended for 90 days from 30 June 2022 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.
